BioKanda is an eighteen year-old exorcist from Japan. Not much is known about his family or background except that he was trained by Theodore Frou. He works for the Black Order as an exorcist, defeating demons known as "akuma" with an anti-akuma weapon in the form of a black katana called "Mugen."
He has a tattoo above his heart, which is connected to a lotus flower he keeps bottled up in his room. When the last petal falls from the flower, it is believed Kanda will die, but until then, he is able to heal faster than normal humans. His one ambition is to find someone, though who that person is known only to himself.
Personality wise, he's very ill-tempered and easily angered. There are very few people he can tolerate, and he often threatens everyone with physical violence when they get in his way. He also hates sweet things, certain people calling him by his given name, Allen (aka Bean Sprout), Theodore, Akuma, etc. etc. His favorite foods are tempura and soba noodles, and those are about the only things he enjoys.
